Monday
On March 17, 2016, we broadcasted our first "A Call to Prayer" broadcast. Our "vision" was to prayer every night over KWAH 95.5 FM for the needs of people around the world. This was to be an "unbroken" PRAYER CHAIN that was to continue every night until our Lord Jesus Christ returns.

As I post this, it is January 16, 2017, and tonight we will finish our 307th prayer broadcast, not missing one single night!
On December 23rd, 2017, we begin an email Prayer Update. In each issue, Brother Ford shares a short "devotional" for the day and includes the list of the 21 people that we are praying for that day. This update usually goes out before noon (CST), to the Prayer&Praise Warriors the Lord has raised up to reinforce these prayers around the world.

In the evening, from 8-9 PM the KWAH staff members (mentioned on this page), earnestly pray in faith for the needs over the air (and internet), for the 21 people on this list. With each prayer, they on believing for a "miracle"!

On January 7th, 2017, while Brother Ford was on the air praying, God "birthed" a vision in his heart to believe for faithful "Prayer&Praise Warriors" to "pray" and "praise" for the needs of "21" people during each hour time slot of the world. A "Call to Prayer" would then be duplicated 24 times around the world each day.

It was a "vision" then, now it is becoming a reality as "followers of Jesus" around the world are "catching the vision" to "minister to the needs" of "21' at sometime during an "hour time slot" of the day and night. This does not mean they will be praying for an hour, but taking the list of the "21" people we email out in day and praying & praising at sometime during that hour time slot for God to meet their needs.

While we are sleeping in our part of the world, Prayer&Praise Warriors will be praying for the needs of "21" on the other side of the world.

These Prayer&Praise Warriors will be "faithful men and women" who are "given to the Lord" who will do their best to "minister to the needs" of "21" who are in each daily Prayer Update. They will do this during the time slot which works best for them.

...thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Matthew 25:23

Since there are 24 time zones in the world, altogether we need at least 24 Prayer &Praise Warriors. Presently we need 5 more Prayer&Praise Warriors to complete the "24" time-slots.

We are setting this up according to our current time zone here, which is Central Standard Time (CST) - GMT-6:00 (internationally).

We are believing that God will raise up Prayer&Praise Warriors for each time slot. We can have more than one Praise&Praise Warrior in the different time slots. Our vision is to have at least 50 prayer warriors praying at each time slot. This will give us 24 hours of prayer 7 days a week.

Listen in to "A CALL TO PRAYER"
tonight over KWAH from 8 - 9 PM (CST)
Here are the messages Brother Ford has shared in the Prayer Updates since he started producing them on December 23, 2016:
December 23, 2016

Are you aware that when we pray for the needs of others, God moves in our behalf for our own needs? When Job prayed for the needs of his friends, God intervened with "miracles" in his behalf.

And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Job 42:10

This is not the reason we pray for others. We pray for others needs because we "care" about them. We are "touched" by their needs and truly concerned about what they are going through.

Thanks for your "Prayer of Agreement" for the needs of 21 people to be met tonight as we take their needs to the Lord in prayer on "A Call to Prayer."

For December 25, 2016

For some reason, it seems most of us have overlooked what could be one of the most prevalent sins of our generation... "our lack of prayer for others."

Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you...
1Samuel 12:23

No, we usually don't think of it being a sin not to pray for others... but, God does. The "Good News" is, now... many of us, are not ceasing to pray each day for the needs of others. We thank God for this prayer tool to help us to pray for the needs of others.

If you continue to faithfully pray for the requests we email you each day during 2017, by the end of the year, you will have prayed for the needs of 7,665 people??? When I think of this, I can't help but "rejoice" in advance for all the "victory reports" was are going to receive during 2017!!!

Thanks for your "Prayer of Agreement" with us for "miracles" for 21 people... tonight.

For December 26, 2016

Praying for "one another" is a COMMAND from our Lord. Praying for "one another"... is NOT OPTIONAL. We can "choose" who to pray for, but not praying for anyone places us in direct disobedience to God's Word.

...pray one for another, that ye may be healed...
James 5:16

When we think of "praying one for another," in our minds, it is usually "one-sided"... towards the person we are praying for. Praying for someone has far more impact than just for who we are praying for. As we "sow" in prayer for "one another," we also "reap" from our actions. As we saw in the example of Job (Job 42:10), praying for others, releases God's power to move in our own behalf. As you pray for the needs in people's lives below, pray fully expecting God to move in your behalf!

For December 28, 2016

Since one of our prayer partners recently asked me a question about prayer, I felt it would be good to share some thoughts with you concerning prayer that I hope will be helpful.

MANY OF OUR "REGULARLY PRAYERS" WE PRAY EACH DAY, SHOULD BE SO BIG THAT ONLY GOD CAN PULL IT OFF.

Praying "small prayers," may even require "no faith." Our prayers may be so "tiny" and "ordinary," that God does not need to even intervene in our lives. Besides what we might call our "regular prayers," we need to add some "mountain moving prayers."

...whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed... and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe, that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
  Mark 11:23

These are the prayers that if God does not show up, absolutely nothing is going to happen! I believe we should pray more "mountain moving prayers," than "bump in the road prayers." Although, there are times when we actually need both.

We do need to understand that "mountain moving prayers" are not always answered instantaneously. In fact, it seems that most of the time, we find ourselves wrestling with the powers of darkness for our "miracle to manifest." Though these kind of prayers may take some time, we need to "hang on tight" and keep "believing God"... until we experience our "miracle breakthrough"!

For December 29, 2016

We also need some "AS LONG AS IT TAKES" PRAYERS.

It seems like most of our prayer requests are "ASAP" prayers (As Soon As Possible) prayers. Like... we have to have our need met... "yesterday."

What we really need are some "LAIT" prayers (As Long As It Takes) prayers) If we don't receive our answer by "sundown," that's alright, we'll just keep pressing on "believing" and "praising" the Lord that our answer is on the way.

It is always great when God moves "quick," but it is also still "great," when God moves in "His timing" and He doesn't order a "quick fix."

We find David in the Psalms praying frequently for God to move "quickly." We can pray the same way. However, there are other times when we need to understand that, often, while we are praying, God is "at work" IN our lives, "changing us." While prayer is going THROUGH our lives, God is working IN our lives.

I do believe Daniel prayed fully expecting an answer from God soon. But, because his prayers were "hindered" by Satan, it took three weeks of fasting and continued praying until his answer came.

When his answer did arrive, the angel from the Lord informed Daniel that his answer was on the way as soon as he prayed, but the powers of darkness "along the way," hindered his answer from arriving. War in the Heavenlies, can also affect when our answer arrives.

We must not be disappointed if our prayers do not "always" or even "ever"... arrive the "next day" at our doorstep (like something we ordered "next day delivery" from Amazon). It's so easy to be discouraged because we think that God is not work on our need... if our prayer becomes "delayed," when the truth is just the opposite. Our answer IS on the way!

For December 30, 2016

We also need some, "I know my God can, but if He chooses not to, I will still trust Him" prayers.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego are a prime example of someone putting their complete trust in the Lord... regardless of the outcome.

In so many words they said, "No king, we will not bow down to your image. Our God is able to deliver us from your fiery furnace. But, if he doesn't, we still will not serve your gods or worship your image." (Story in Daniel 3:16-18)

Realizing this powerful principle helps us continue moving forward in faith. Yes, we know God can answer every one of our prayers. None of us are facing anything that is too difficult for our God! No, nothing in our lives is. "impossible." But, if for some unknown (to us) reason, our God does choose not to answer any of our prayers during this coming year, we will still serve him faithfully! We will bow to Him and Him alone!

When we understand and declare this, it is a testimony to our complete submission and faith in God. This a prayer of surrender to God's will for our lives... regardless! I believe having an attitude of "faith in God" like this... greatly honors God.

Here's the truth... when we put this into action in our lives... either way, we win! And most importantly, because of our 100% trust in God, our Lord is always glorified and... He wins!!!

For December 31, 2016

We also need some, "blessing, instead of cursing" prayers.

The Apostle Paul was no stranger to persecution. In city after city, he faced serious opposition. His enemies were not just trying to give him "blue Mondays," they were out to kill him. Satan did his best to use people to try to destroy Paul's ministry and even his very life, but thanks to God, the devil never succeeded!

Instead of Paul being angry, upset and vindictive, he says... "Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse" (Romans 12:14).

Let's close out 2016 by examining our lives to make sure there that there is no one who sinned against us during this past year that we have not forgiven. Not only not forgiven, but sent prayers of blessings and mercy their way.

One of those very "special" persons, may come to mind now as you read these lines. "Someone"... who really hurt you during 2016. You might classify this person as... enemy #1 of this past year. Perhaps, he or she hurt you "over and over." Before the clock strikes midnight... let's really forgive them for all the harmed they caused us... and then, let's really let them have "IT"... as we pray that God will give them great blessings during 2017!

From Paul's writings, it's easy to see that he is not holding a grudge against anyone, no matter how much they may have hurt and wronged him. This takes God's strength. To be able to pray blessings on someone who has brought great grief into our lives, is not "human," it is "divine."

If we "hold back" our forgiveness... it will cause God to shut up the blessings He had intended for us (Romans 12:17-21, Matthew 6:15). We must forgive others trespasses against us, in order to experience God's forgiving us of our trespasses (and we have many).

As we yield to the Lord's will and forgive others, God will continue to release blessings into our lives. Unforgiveness will hinder or even stop our prayers from being answered (1 Peter 3:7). How we treat others, including our spouse, will either "make or break," us during the coming year. If we desire for God's blessings to "overtake" us every day during 2017, then we must allow the spirit of forgiveness to "overtake" us this last day of 2016.
